It's easy to apply for Uniontown, PA college student apartment housing at University Commons.

PICT0330Thank you for your interest in our off-campus university apartments!  We look forward to your stay at University Commons near Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.  It's easy to apply for one of our apartment rentals.  Here's how!

1. Complete an Application

Complete the lease and credit application along with the tenant profile online. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

  1. ONLINE: Complete the Lease and Credit Application and Student Tenant Profile using our secure submission forms.
  2. BY MAIL: Download, complete and mail our Lease and Credit Application and Tenant Profile.

2. Payment Plan Acceptance

You will be accepted for one of our two payment plans depending on the results of your lease and credit application.

3. Complete, Notarize, and Mail Guaranty Agreement with Payment

Within twenty days of confirmed acceptance, you will send to the following address this Guaranty Agreement signed and notarized by your parents or guardian, along with a $300.00 security deposit and a $35.00 application fee.  Checks are to be made payable to:

Depending on your payment plan, you will follow either steps 4 or 5. After either step is completed, you are guaranteed a room.  If the application is received after July 15th, you will perform steps 4 or 5 at the same time as step 3.

4. Direct Debit Authorization

If you were accepted for any of our plans and choose to take the 10- or 12-payment plan, a completed Direct Debit Authorization form must be sent to University Commons on or before July 15th. If you choose to pay-in-full or per semester, please proceed to step 5.

5. Payment Plans & Financial Aid

If approved for the pay-in-full or per semester plan, a payment of $400.00 must be received on or before July 15th. If you plan to receive financial aid for housing, you must also complete and send in the Campus Aid Form, allowing Penn State to release the information to us. Financial aid arrives approximately two weeks after school begins. Your balance in full will be due after this period. If you are not receiving aid, your full balance is due on or before you move in.

6. Room Assignments

In early August, you will receive an email containing a user name and password to access your roommates' information.
